New Home
So, we did it. We purchased a new home. Unfortunately, we've added a commute to our lives, but I must say that we've picked the best of most options. We have a train that travels from the southern part of the county to the back door of my office building. I am not really into public transportation, but with gas prices increasing, I will endeavor to love it.
Here's a quick shot of the home. I hate the color, but it's a nice house.

2006 and all the kids are older . . .
We've made it through 2005 and the holidays. The children has birthdays this month. Naiyah turned 1 and Rodney is 15!!
Naiyah's party was at the Children's Museum on 1/8. I love that place. It was perfect for her baby, as many of the children were older. There's something for everyone.
Rodney celebrated his birthday with dinner at Atlas Foods, U-Village. He had crabcakes, as they did not offer steamed crab. He likes to celebrate his birthday with steamed crabs. It's luxury granted to him for his birthday dinner. He then had a few friends over for the night.
Although Naiyah was crawling at her birthday party, she took off walking that week. During the MLK holiday weekend, she gained a lot of confidence. She went from toddling a few steps to making it across the room.
I should feel old, but I don't. I'm like a fine wine or steak, always better with a little age.
Finally, 2006 will include a new home for us. We are beginning the new house hunt!!
